The First Day
What to expect (normal healing)
-
Day 1–2: Colour looks stronger and more intense than expected
-
Day 3–7: Dryness / tight feeling, light flaking or peeling (do not pick)
-
Day 7–14: Colour can look patchy or faded while the skin settles
-
Week 4–8: Final healed result appears (this is when we review and do your perfecting top-up if needed)
Important: Healing can temporarily look uneven. This is normal and exactly why the top-up/perfecting session exists.

The Golden Rules for all PMU
For 10–14 days, please avoid:
-
Saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, swimming pools & hot tubs
-
Heavy sweating / intense gym sessions
-
Sunbeds and direct sun exposure
-
Facials, peels, microneedling, laser, or any exfoliating treatments near the area
-
Makeup on the treated area until fully healed
-
Touching, picking, scratching, or removing flakes
Do not: use retinol, acids (AHA/BHA), glycolic/salicylic, or strong skincare on/near the area while healing.

General Cleaning
-
Wash hands before touching the area
-
Keep the area clean, dry, and protected
-
Blot only if needed (do not rub)
-
If you’ve been given an aftercare balm, use it sparingly — more is not better
If you ever feel unsure, message me before trying a random product.
